Ross Breckon named President of
EDS Advanced Solutions
It was announced today that Ross Breckon has been named as the President of Victoria, British Columbia-based EDS Advanced Solutions, effective August 14, 2006.
Breckon brings more than 34 years of IT sector experience to the role, most recently serving as vice President responsible for EDS Canada’s Victoria and Vancouver operations. In addition to his role as President, he will also have responsibility for existing EDS Canada business within British Columbia.
Al Hurd has served as EDS Advanced Solutions’ President since the company’s inception in 2004. Hurd has been appointed to lead all EDS Public Sector business in Canada, which includes the oversight of EDS Advanced Solutions, a subsidiary of EDS Canada. Hurd has also been named chairman of the EDS Advanced Solutions Board of Directors.
